Description:

Built in 1758 by the Moravians, the Sun Inn was well known in Colonial times for its excellent food, hospitality, and comfortable accommodations. Several rooms in the first floor museum contain period artifacts, furniture, and reproductions.

Visitors can experience a colonial-era kitchen, a bedroom suite with sitting area, the innkeeper’s desk and Gastube (gathering place) with working fireplace.

Tavern at the Sun Inn:

The Sun Inn also hosts a full-service on-site restaurant with two dining rooms, period-inspired menu, drinks, an authentic atmosphere, and a series of special events.
