Description:

The Weatherly Area Museum showcases the story of how the town was founded and the businesses and industries that helped shape it over the years. Artifacts, photography, and historical memorabilia are on display.

The museum was founded in 2012 to showcase John “Jack” Koehler’s extensive collection of Weatherly and Lehigh Valley Railroad artifacts, and business and community archives. Jack collected, researched, and preserved starting as a young man in 1942 until his passing in 2016. The museum is dedicated to continuing his passion for future generations. Not only did Jack meticulously document life in Weatherly (Carbon County, PA), but the materials he collected on industrial railroad history rival more well-known professional collections.
