Description:
The Daniel Boone Homestead, site of the pioneer’s birth offers a unique glimpse of early Pennsylvania settlement. Housed on 579 acres of land, the site has six historic structures, walking trails, and a lake. We offer a variety of educational programs, including tours of the historic buildings and eighteenth-century hands-on activities interpreting the lives of the Boone and late residents, the Maugridge and DeTurk families.
