Visit our area’s cemeteries to explore the history of our relationship between honoring our ancestors, grieving, and celebrating the lives of our loved ones. Explore these partners:
Durham Historical Society
Visitors to Durham Township can visit and explore the Gallows Hill Cemetery.
Historic Easton Cemetery
Walking or driving through the rolling hills of the cemetery is like going back through time. There are intricately carved monuments from the Victorian era when symbolism was used to tell the story of the person buried there. There are buildings including a chapel, a large mausoleum and many smaller, family mausoleums. Unlike many historic cemeteries today, Easton Cemetery still has room for burials.
Horner’s Cemetery Historical Society
Horner’s is noted as being the oldest cemetery in Northampton County. The cemetery holds the remains of many founders and notable figures of Northampton County, including three generals, seven esquires, four doctors, three ministers, and at least 21 documented veterans of four wars.
Williams Township
Williams Township is home to Old Williams Cemetery and Raubsville Cemetery, where visitors can take a self-guided tour.
